St. Raphael is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee, and it is the only Episcopal church in Cumberland County. Its first service was on March 19, 1978, and it organized as a mission church of the diocese in January 1979. The congregation moved into its current church building, which was designed by church member Joe Hodges, in December 1983. A recent parochial report showed 188 baptized members, with an average Sunday attendance of 85.

Wednesdays
• Holy Communion and Healing, 9:30 a.m.
• Bible Study, 10:30 am
• Introduction to Centering Prayer, 11:45 a.m.
• Centering Prayer, noon to 12:30 p.m.

2nd Thursdays
• Holy Communion at Fletcher Hall (Uplands Retirement Village), 11 a.m.
